The challenge was to create a poster based on any movement/incident that influenced historical or contemporary events significantly and recreate it into 5 different graphic design trends in the span of past 5 years(2018-2023).

Ever heard "Paytm par 18 rupaye prapt hue?"
According to studies, the implementation of UPI has increased online shopping and impulsive purchasing. Consumers may now make payments instantly, without any delays or extra procedures, which reduces the time and effort needed to execute a transaction. As a result, consumers are more likely to make impulsive purchases because the payment procedure for products is made simpler.

The poster thus depicts compulsive buying disorder as the monster while utilizing the metaphor of grapes as luxury/money with an elegantly deceiving hand being the one feeding its behaviour.

Retro Line Art
Retro Line Art is a minimal illustration type that uses a cartoonish style to make designs humorous and fun.

Risoprint
Risograph printing originated in Japan in 1946, and is defined by vivid colors, a limited palette, and charming imperfections. Typically, it requires a special printer that layers one translucent color at a time.

Grunge
Grunge designs consist of dirty stains, torn images, “broken” icons and creased pieces of paper are as popular as hand-drawn elements and dirty textures. The main purpose of hand-drawn elements lies in their ability to convey a personality and an individual note.

Angry, aggressive, and full of strong social and cultural messages, with the defining elements of the punk visual art aesthetic being collage, cut-up, décollage, photomontage, and zine making.

Brutalism
Brutalism is a utilitarian aesthetic movement that shuns decoration in favor of exposing and celebrating the raw materials used to construct the design. In graphic design, it is a style that attempts to appear raw, unadorned or haphazard. It mimics web design in the 1990s.
